a CFD Engineer Propulsion.

This team has the mission to deliver a high power, integrated, and balanced propulsion system. As a CFD engineer, you perform calculations from both a component and system perspective, where the analysis aims to create an understanding of issues related to lifetime, performance, and safety. You will take part in a dynamic environment where you need to continuously present your results and take part in decisions that brings the development forward.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Thermal simulations for:

1. HV battery design
2. Electric Drive Unit
3. Charging

• Gas venting simulations
• Develop and maintain models
• Evaluate and verify models
• Support the team in the day-to-day work with data driven analysis

To be successful in this role, they believe you have:

• M.Sc. degree in mechanics, technical physics or equivalent university degree
• Experience in solving kinetic and thermal problems and a combination of these
• Experience in performing CFD calculations

The primary tools you will use is, but not limited to:

• Simcenter STAR-CCM+
• ANSA (pre-processing)
• Matlab / Simulink / Simscape

Other requirements:

Creative self-going engineer who are used to dynamic environments and interaction with cross functional teams.

Time period: ASAP - 2025-12-31 – with possible prolongation
