- Location: Sweden (preferable Malmö & onsite 1-2 times/week) This role is needed to join the team during the People Operations Transformation (POT) Project, Ingka Group. What is the POT project? People Operations Transformation is firmly grounded in our culture and values. The transformation is about delivering People & Culture services that not just meet but exceed the needs of our co-workers, our business, society, and legislation. People Operations Transformation will support and empower co-workers and leaders in their performance and development. The transformation will take place in all parts of our company and modernize our ways of working through standardization and digitalization. It will improve co-worker experience, deploy digital tools, secure compliance, and support our business with insights and analytics, all key components for business success. This is a temporary role until August 2026, start date can be discussed. The project location is Malmö (ideally the candidate can work from Malmö but remote working is possible). Please be aware that the stakeholders and the team is working in European Timezone. In this role as Design Lead, you will be the point of contact for the release lead and release PMO’s for any plan inputs, RAID (Risk, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) inputs, or status updates. Together with the Business Area Lead, you are responsible for planning the resources. Throughout the Design Workshops, you are responsible for the planning, coordination, progress, and cooperation Kravspecifikation: This means in particular, your responsibilities include: Aligning and scheduling all design activities across process experts and digital product specialists Coordinating the design team to deliver the design workshops Coordinating if all the design stages: Preparation, session participation, closure of the stage to successfully open next one Facilitating in design sessions (introduction, closure, timekeeping, monitoring chats, etc.) Coordinating the preparation of supporting materials with the design team and making sure everyone understands their responsibilities and deadlines Organizing and facilitating regular release design team meetings to gather process and digital updates Cooperating with the team to track and monitor the status of design activities and support with statistics Managing the workload by enabling sufficient tracking tools to capture progress and challenges Providing status updates on design to other program stakeholders, as part of POT governance meetings Collaborating with the Business Area Leads and Business & Solution Architects to provide guidance to the design teams on priorities within the release Are you good at keeping plans together? To be successful in this role as Design Lead, we believe you have experience of leading yourself through challenging transformation processes by being able to always keep plans and deadlines together. For this role, you need to have good knowledge of project management processes including methods and tools; scope, time, cost, risk, quality, communication and how to integrate these processes. Additionally, we believe you are good at coordinating meetings and responsibilities as well as you can handle many interfaces and tasks at the same time, while always focusing on the agreed goal. As Design Lead, you need to have good analytical skills to keep everything together and connect the dots. Furthermore, you need to bring good organizational skills as well as good communication and facilitation skills. It would be beneficial to have experience in presenting data and risk management to stakeholders. In addition, you are good at collaboration with multi-cultural and international project teams in different countries and you have a good knowledge of the IKEA concept, the IKEA brand identity and the IKEA culture and values.
