Assignment Description and Requirements
We are looking to strengthen a client's organization with 3-4 Quantity Surveyors with the following experience: x Mechanical Piping x HVAC x Electrical x Others, such as civils will be looked at too, but the above are the packages for which we are currently recruiting for Minimum Requirements: x An accredited, recognized and industry-appropriate university degree, preferably in quantity surveying x Other qualifications can be considered and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis Recommended Certifications: x Associate or Chartered Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) registration, or working towards it (if working towards it, this must be demonstrable) x PMI Project Management Professional x Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Cira) x Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) x Other regional quantity surveying accreditations A general summary of key responsibilities is provided below: x Assessment of contractor’s payment applications x Effective change management (variations, compensation events, change orders) x Final account preparation x Provide support to the contract's specialist on contractual claims and disputes x Develop the forecasted final account x Assist with the preparation of tender Bos x Negotiate and settle final accounts x Participate in procurement of work packages Some other terms include: x The roles are site-based roles, in Skelleftea x Rotation is not preferred x Rates are to be all inclusive, and shall include costs such as accommodation, mobile phone (not provided by the client), flights, work permit applications, local car hire/transport to and from site, PPE, ID06 registration, and similar costs (basically the rate we pay is the rate we pay, no extras) x Income tax and other statutory compliance is mandatory

The roles are long term, with an initial 12-month contract, and an option to extend at the client's discretion.
