Assignment Description and Requirements
Role Summary • To organize and lead the Field Engineer activities within the E/I/C(A) discipline in accordance with the requirements from the client, extent of work, time, budget and plan • Act as a link between the Engineering team and the Construction team Responsibilities (not limited to) • Act as technical support to construction team for site queries • Follow up on already approved actions from the Supervisor, this might be minor design issues and/or changes in field and design • Solve major design issues with input/support from the Supervisor • Get approval from engineering disciplines for suggested design solution in the changes • Assist with Punch walkdowns Authorization: Solve site queries and issue replies Competence requirements: B.Sc. / Engineer with minimum 3 / 5 years of relevant experience respectively The Field engineer shall preferably have been working on a similar project before and know about the challenges in a project like this. Delegation: Engineering Discipline Lead
English only is sufficient language skill for this assignment
Other relevant information
Experience from bigger industrial projects, preferably within the steel industry. You should have experience of being in a similar role on a big industrial site. You should have experience from high/low voltage projects(assignments) Most focus on Electrical but should have some understanding about Automation. Prior experience from multidisciplinary projects. You should be able to guide and support on-site questions. No remote work, 100% on site.
