Role Summary • To organize and lead the Field Engineer activities within the Piping discipline in accordance with the requirements from the client, extent of work, time, budget and plan • Act as a link between the Engineering team and the Construction team Responsibilities (not limited to) • Act as technical support to construction team for site queries • Follow up on already approved actions from the Supervisor, this might be minor design issues and/or changes in field and design • Solve major design issues with input/support from the Supervisor • Get approval from engineering disciplines for suggested design solution in the changes • Assist with Punch walkdowns Authorization: Solve site queries and issue replies Competence requirements: B.Sc. / Engineer with minimum 3 / 5 years of relevant experience respectively The Field engineer shall preferably have been working on a similar project before and know about the challenges in a project like this. Other relevant information
Experience from bigger industrial projects, preferably within the steel industry. You should have experience of being in a similar role on an industrial site. Prior experience from working with interfaces and design is important for our end client. No remote work, 100% on site.
