Job Description:
This assignment is for a commissioning engineer with a chemical process background. The key responsibility of the role includes:- Work and coordinate with production and maintenance groups, to make sure that the commissioning procedure is checked out step by step.
- Coordinate with suppliers to be on site in a timely manner.
- Follow-up with engineering issues with other process engineers that comes up during commissioning. Role is for current ongoing commissioning in the clients first commercial scale cathode plant (chemical process plant) with possibility for extension into planning phase for the expansion of the cathode plant and relevant brownfield projects.
- Review and develop completion process with construction - Describe the steps to production and maintenance such that these groups can make sure to have tools, spare parts and resources available for work.
- Establish raw material needs for commissioning.
- Establish waste removal needs during commissioning.
- Write commissioning procedure including o Flushing and cleaning needs of Sequence and group DCS testing of Equipment specific commissioning o Process specific commissioning o DOE and tuning requirements for getting product quality to Make sure raw material supply is covered for in commissioning materials
- Make sure suppliers are contacted and informed on commissioning times and support needed. If procurement is necessary, make sure this is performed. During construction phase:
- Follow-up with engineering issues with other process engineers that comes up during commissioning.
- Specific competences that is relevant: Chemical process experience commissioning experience LOTO experience.
