Job Description
• Manage the contracting process for the project, from initial scoping to final contract closeout. (This includes developing contract terms and conditions, negotiating with contractors and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.)
• Develop and negotiate contracts with contractors. (You will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to develop contract terms that meet project requirements while also managing risk and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.)
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage contractual risks. (You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential risks, monitoring performance against contractual obligations, and managing any disputes or issues that may arise during the project.)
• Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and scope. (You will collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project plans, monitor progress against project milestones, and manage any changes to project scope or requirements.)
• Review and approve contractor and supplier invoices and change orders. (You will ensure that all invoices and change orders are accurate and comply with contractual requirements.)
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors. (You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and future business opportunities.)
• Provide guidance and support to project teams on contractual matters. (You will be a key resource for project teams on contractual matters, providing guidance and support as needed.)
• Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. (You will work closely with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts comply with relevant laws and regulations.)
• Identify and mitigate potential contractual issues and disputes. (You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential issues and disputes before they become major problems.)
• Develop and maintain contract management processes and tools to ensure consistent and efficient execution.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Law, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in EPCM contract management. (You should have a deep understanding of EPCM contracting and be able to lead negotiations, manage risk, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.)
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop and manage relationships with stakeholders. (You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.)
• Excellent understanding of EPCM contracting, project management, and risk management principles. (You should have a strong understanding of EPCM contracting, as well as project management and risk management principles.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. (You should be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing.)
• You should be able to work independently, manage your time effectively, and prioritize multiple projects.
• Familiarity with contract management software and tools. (You should be familiar with contract management software and tools and be able to use them to manage contracts efficiently.)
• Willingness to travel as required. (You should be willing to travel as needed to manage contracts and meet with stakeholders.)
