Job Description
You will provide leadership and coordination for all Low Voltage and high Voltage EDS and junction boxes packaging and routing reporting to the EDS Manager.- Ownership of the HV and LV EDS systems harness routing and packaging delivery.
- Ownership of the requirements relative to the HV and LV, Electric Distribution System routing.
- Ownership of all interfaces (3D CAD) and accountable for coherence of those interfaces with rest of Platform system.
- Accountable for alignment with Vehicle DVP and Prototype milestones.
- Responsible for the timing management of the development and release of harness and junction box 3D data.
- Assist with the successful completion of all DFMEA activities.
- Responsible for the successful CAD releases of the harness and junction box 3D CAD.
- Assist for supplier management.
- Assist in prototype and vehicle build phases and issue management.
Job Requirements- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering discipline.
- Industry experience: Proven (3years +) experience in delivery of EDS Systems and charging solutions for automotive or related industry (supplier or OEM side).
- Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels.
- Decisive contributor to guide the business.
- Autonomous, enduring and highly-motivated attitude.
- Extensive experience with CAD systems, experience of (NX) a plus.
- Experience of ECAD platforms: Capital Logic & Integrator, Capital Harness ideally but other tool chains accepted.
- Significant experience in use of engineering tools FMEA, DFM, DFA, Six Sigma, problemresolution etc.
- Experience of change management processes like Engineering Change Requests.
- Extensive design experience of designing harness routings.
- Experience of best practice for harness routing to prevent issues.
- Good knowledge of connector inline topology and ground topology.
- Interpret relative Technical Customer Documentation (TCD's) to identify correct connectors for devices.
- Experience of 2D/3D MCAD bridge synchronization.
- PC Literacy: CAD review systems (Vis Mockup), Power Point, Excel, Word etc
