We are currently looking for an EDS Lead Engineer for our customer based in Gothenburg in Sweden and Germany.
- 6-12+ months contract

Job Description:
You will provide leadership and coordination for all Low Voltage and high Voltage EDS and junction boxes packaging and routing reporting to the EDS Manager.- Ownership of the HV and LV EDS systems delivery.
- Ownership of the requirements relative to the HV and LV, Electric Distribution System.
- Ownership of all interfaces (Physical and Data) and accountable for coherence of those interfaces with rest of Platform system
- Accountable for alignment with Vehicle DVP and Prototype milestones
- Responsible for the timing management of the development and release of those components.
- Responsible for the successful completion of all DFMEA activities
- Responsible for the supervision of the successful CAD releases and integration in the Virtual Car
- Responsible for supplier management and the co-ordination and supervision of the delivery of Logical Circuits, 2D Drawings, 3D models
- Hands-on participation in prototype and vehicle build phases and issue management
Skills and Experience
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering discipline.
- Industry experience: Proven (3years +) experience in delivery of EDS Systems and charging solutions for automotive or related industry (supplier or OEM side).
- Extensive experience with CAD systems, (Catia V5/V6) a plus
- Experience of ECAD platforms: Capital Logic & Integrator, Capital Harness ideally but other toolchains accepted.
- Significant experience in use of engineering tools FMEA, DFM, DFA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc.
- Experience of change management processes like Engineering Change Requests.
- Extensive design experience of designing circuit schematics.
- Experience in the correct implementation of unique requirements for circuits as required to protect the integrity of the signal (e.g. twisting, shielding, voltage rating, voltage drops, max resistance, specifying insulation type for temperature, dynamics, etc.
- Expertise in circuit simulation, load calculations, voltage drop calculations, bundle size calculations, fault finding & design solutions to prevent failures.
- Gather, interpret and upload relative Technical Customer Documentation (TCD's) into Electrical Database.
- Experience of 2D/3D MCAD bridge synchronization and PC Literacy: CAD review systems (Vis Mockup), Power Point, Excel, Word etc.
