- Description
On behalf of our customer we are looking for a Cobol Developer to work in Sweden and Germany on a contract basis.
Long-term 12+ month contracts with possible extension

Location: Stockholm, Munich, Frankfurt
Job responsibilities:- Provides development of projects involving application development, migrations, and additions to existing mainframe applications.
- Supports the COBOL and JCL development including enhancements and maintenance on Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP) for performing & non performing servicing.
- Participates in project meetings with other technical staff, business owners and subject matter experts.
- Reviews application in progress of development to ensure compliance with overall design parameters and corporate development standards.
- Develops unit tests and reviews development of test protocols for testing application before user acceptance.
- Reviews test results and supports further development.
- Provides technical support to COBOL applications currently in production.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job requirements:- Minimum 5 years experience working with COBOL
- Experience building and supporting IBM Mainframe applications
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences
