- We are looking for a Project Planner P6 with experience of M&E construction projects to work in North Sweden
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engineering / construction / commissioning schedule development & maintenance
- Micro schedule development & maintenance
- Progress database development & maintenance
- Schedule progress updating, gathering data from multiple sources
- Progress reporting
- Milestone projections
- Delay / float path analysis
- Earned value analysis
- Site progress verification
- Attending schedule meetings
- Liaising with client and subcontractors
- Preparation of tender schedules
- Preparation of histograms
- Resource / cash loading of schedules
- Providing data for payment applications
- Completing contract review reports
- Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports

- 5+ previous experience of M&E construction projects
- Third level degree in Engineering / Construction Management
- Proficient in the use of MS Project / Primavera / Asta planning software
- Proficient in all MS Office packages, with advanced level MS Excel
- Excellent communication skills with previous client facing experience
- Excellent organisational and project planning skills
- Excellent negotiation & problem solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team & work on own initiative

- Responsibilities: •Contributes to the project planning procedure as a standalone document, or as a chapter in the Project Controls Plan or Project Execution Plan. Ensures alignment with applicable client standards. •Responsible for the use of P6 within the assigned project scope, and ensures that activity IDs and codes, calendars, resources, WBS, and EPS structure are used according to client standards, and that integration with cost control and progress measurement tools is optimized. •Develops overall level 3 detailed schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning for the assigned infrastructure, building, or process equipment scope of work. •Ensures that the CPM schedule correctly represents the client project lifecycle and accurately defines the activities, durations, sequence, relationship logic, and resources required to execute the assigned project scope at a level of detail appropriate for the current phase and execution model. •Establishes a baseline schedule and critical path by participating in interactive planning sessions with the project team and reviewing proposed schedules with responsible project team members. •Responsible for the monthly schedule update process, including review and analysis of contractor schedule updates, and integration of contractor and other third-party schedules into the overall integrated project schedule. •Develops and maintains a progress measurement system for engineering, procurement, and construction work for the assigned project scope, and ensures that contractor data can be integrated in the overall progress measurement system. •Analyses schedule and progress deviations, float consumption, schedule contingency, productivity and earned value metrics, site conditions, and execution strategy changes for impact on the critical path and prepares what-if studies, change order and delay analyses and mitigation recommendations for Senior Planner/Scheduler and Project Controls Manager review. •Communicates clear and concise schedule information to project team members in a timely and proactive manner. •Assists with the preparation of contract milestone dates and contract planning/scheduling and reporting requirements. Evaluates bid schedules and reviews contractor plans to support contract award recommendations. Reviews contractor proposed baseline schedules and change orders. •Supports the preparation of the monthly project report with progress, earned value, schedule, and critical path information and analysis. Provides the cost engineer with time-phasing data and participates in risk workshops. •Prepares the Project Close-out Report and provides input to lessons learned and schedule benchmark data collection. •Participates in gate review processes and discipline quality checks and is an active participant in the client planning community. Authority The Planner/Scheduler has the following authorities: • Establishment of project baseline schedules for assigned scopes of work Accountability The Senior Planner/Scheduler is accountable to: • Senior Planner/Scheduler and Project Controls Manager for the preparation of specific project schedules within the integrated project schedule, and to provide early warning and analysis of schedule deviations.
